SAMHSA Drug Testing Advisory Board Recommends Addition of Select Schedule II Opiates to Drug Panel

The recommendation to the Secretary is to add Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, Hydrocodone and Hydromorphone to the Federal Drug Testing Panel. The only comments made by board members focused on the widespread abuse and concern over these prescription drugs, and the potential utility of the database that will develop out of this testing. The recommendation received unanimous support from the board.
